01

Start with the bottle or jar

Measure the filled container with its cap. Include its widest point, weight and the surface that must be protected.

02

Plan the opening & support

Define lid depth and the reveal. Review an insert or holder when the product needs positioning, then check removal with a sample.

03

Build a complete print layout

Align the principal panel, seam and lid artwork. Confirm the paper and finishing combination with a proof.

From reference to your pack

Share the contents → review dimensions & structure → confirm artwork & sample → agree production details.

How do you choose a paper tube for cosmetics?

Begin with the primary container: its full height, widest diameter and filled weight. Then choose the opening, internal support and print layout. Lip-care contact formats need a separate formula and material compatibility review.

Before you choose your beauty pack.

Practical questions for a better packaging brief.

Can a paper tube protect a glass cosmetic bottle?

A tube can be developed as an outer pack around a bottle. Supply the filled weight, cap and bottle dimensions so the holder and removal path can be sampled; protection must be assessed with the filled pack.

Is a cosmetic outer tube the same as a formula-contact pack?

No. An outer tube presents a separate bottle or jar. A direct-contact or push-up format needs defined contact layers, formula compatibility and evidence for the intended market.

How do I compare the 15 references?

Filter by application or structure, then compare the opening and contents. Treat colors and printed graphics as presentation references; measurements and construction are developed for your own product.

What quantity should I plan for?

The standard for non-molded-pulp paper packaging is 3,000 pieces. Confirm the proposed structure, print scope and sampling plan when you send your brief.
